Document Intake Review and Identification

Here you can review all Documents retrieved and identify them as a Cover Letter, Chase, Invoice, or Pend.  

 

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Document Intake Page Overview

  1. Chart Tab: The document for you to review and identify. 
  2. Comments Tab: This is where you can read and add comments about this Document. Comments will show Username, date, time, and message.
  3. Timeline Tab: This is a complete history of this Document. It is organized by date, newest to oldest. All timeline entries include the Action taken, User, Date, Time
  4. Document Tags: These are tags associated to the Document. Based on permissions, users can add or remove Document Tags
  5. Document Viewer: This is the document for review. You can expand, zoom in, zoom out, rotate, navigate through pages, and freely move the page within the viewer.
  6. Assign: Assign Document directly from the Chart
  7. Submit / Submit & GetNext: Click here when you have completed your Document review
  8. Hold / Hold & GetNext: Click here when you need to put the Document on Hold
  9. Remove / Remove & GetNext: Click here when you need to Remove the Document
  10. Ignore This Page: This is where you associate page(s) to be ignored
  11. Identify as Chase: This is where you associate page(s) as a Chase
  12. Identify as an Invoice: This is where you associate page(s) as an Invoice
  13. Identify as a Pend: This is where you associate page(s) as a part of a Pend
  14. Working Pages Table: Working pages is where you can see all pages identified as chases or to be ignored prior to assignment. 
  15. Unassigned: These are pages you have not identified
  16. Commit Chase Assignments: This button will attach these pages to the Chases.
  17. Committed Pages Table: Committed Pages is where you can see all pages attached to Chases, Pends, and Invoices.

 

Assign Document

  1. From a document, click Assign
  2. Select User
  3. To finalize, click Continue
  4. To cancel, click Cancel

 


 

Identification

Ignore Pages

  • Click Ignore This Pa
  • Enter Start Page
  • Enter End Page
  • Click Accept
  • Ignored pages will appear in the Working Pages table





 

Identify as Chase

  1. Click This Page is Part of a Chase
  2. Enter Start Page
  3. Enter End Page
  4. Enter Chase ID
  5. Click Accept
  6. Chase pages will appear in the Working Pages table as a Medical Record
  7. Hover over Chase ID to see the Project Name
  8. Click 3-dot action to Remove or “jump” to pages
  9.  Prior to submission, click Commit Chase Assignments




 


Identify as Chase – Search Chase ID

  1. Click This Page is Part of a Chase
  2. Enter Start Page Number
  3. Enter End Page Number
  4. Click Search
  5. Enter any combination of search criteria, click search
  6. From the results table, click radio button of desired Chase
  7. To Continue, click Use This Chase
  8. To Cancel, click "x” in top left.
  9. To finalize, click Accept
  10. Your Chase association will be placed into your Working Pages table as a Medical Record
  11. To finalize, click Commit Chase Assignment







 

Identify as Invoice

  1. Click This Page is Part of an Invoice
  2. Enter Start Page
  3. Enter End Page
  4. Enter Chase ID
  5. Click Accept
  6. Invoices will appear in the Committed Pages table







Identify as Invoice – Search Chase ID

  1. Click This Page is Part of an Invoice
  2. Enter Start Page Number
  3. Enter End Page Number
  4. Click Search
  5. Enter any combination of search criteria, click search
  6. From the results table, click radio button of desired Chase
  7. To continue, click Use This Chase
  8. To cancel, click "x” in top left.
  9. To finalize, click Accept
  10. Invoice will appear in the Committed Pages table








 

Identify as Pend

  1. Click This Page is Part of a Pend
  2. Enter Start Page
  3. Enter End Page
  4. Select Pend Code
  5. Enter Chase ID
  6. Click Accept
  7. Pends will appear in the Committed Pages table




 

Identify as Pend– Search Chase ID

  1. Click This Page is Part of a Pend
  2. Enter Start Page Number
  3. Enter End Page Number
  4. Select Pend Code
  5. Click Search
  6. Enter any combination of search criteria, click search 
  7. From the results table, click radio button of desired Chase
  8. To continue, click Use This Chase
  9. To cancel, click "x” in top left.
  10. To finalize, click Accept
  11. Pends will appear in the Committed Pages table









 

Submit Document

  1. At the top of the page, click the arrow to select Submit
  2. Once submitted, you will default back to your homepage

 

Submit & Get Next Document

  1. At the top of the page, click Submit & Get Next
  2. Once submitted, a new Document will automatically load 

 

Hold Document

  1. At the top of the page, click the arrow to select Hold
  2. When Prompted, select a Document Hold Reason
  3. Enter a note (minimum 15 characters)
  4. To finalize, click Submit
  5. To cancel, click Cancel
  6. Once submitted, you will default back to your homepage




Hold & Get Next Document 

  1. At the top of the page, click Hold & Get Next
  2. When Prompted, select a Document Hold Reason
  3. Enter a note (minimum 15 characters)
  4. To finalize, click Submit
  5. To cancel, click Cancel
  6. Once submitted, a new Document will automatically load




Remove Document

  1. At the top of the page, click the arrow to select Remove
  2. When Prompted, select continue to finalize removal
  3. To cancel, click Cancel
  4. Once submitted, you will default back to your homepage





Remove & Get Next Document

  1. At the top of the page, click Remove & Get Next 
  2. When Prompted, select continue to finalize removal
  3. To cancel, click Cancel
  4. Once submitted, a new Document will automatically load





View Invoice from Doc Intake

  1. From the Committed Pages table, click the 3-dot action
  2. Select ‘View Invoice’
  3. You will automatically be redirected to Invoice Data Entry


 

 

 

Note: 

If pages have not been associated, you will be prompted to Cancel or click Yes to Submit Document.

 

Based on Service Organization settings, if pages have not been viewed you will be prompted that you cannot submit until all pages have been viewed.

Lead: Retrieval Lead
